This 45-minute Pre-Consultation gives you an opportunity to discuss your project with an experienced commercial interior designer and project manager and understand the appropriate next steps.

What We'll Discuss

Every project is different, so the conversation is tailored to where you are in the process.

Depending on your project, we may discuss:

  • Your business and operational needs

  • The type and approximate size of space you are considering

  • Your project goals and priorities

  • Budget expectations

  • Your anticipated timeline

  • Potential building, permitting and accessibility considerations

  • Professionals or consultants who may need to be involved

  • Questions or concerns about a property you are considering

You do not need to have everything figured out before the consultation. That's part of the reason for having it.

What’s Included

Your Pre-Consultation includes up to 2 hours of professional consulting time, consisting of:

  • A 45-minute consultation to discuss your project, goals, concerns and the information currently available.

  • Up to 75 minutes following the consultation to review the information discussed and prepare your written Pre-Consultation Summary.

Within 2 business days, you’ll receive a written summary outlining the key considerations discussed, items that may require further investigation, professionals or consultants that may be required, and recommended next steps.

This section is important because it makes clear that the $247 isn't just paying for a 45-minute conversation. They're actually receiving up to two hours of your professional time plus a written deliverable.

Add just that section, and then we'll do the next one, which explains what happens when a project needs more investigation than can reasonably be completed within those two hours.

When More Investigation Is Needed

Some projects require more investigation than can reasonably be completed within the Pre-Consultation.

If additional research, document review, site assessment, zoning or building code review, consultant input or other professional services are recommended, these will be identified in your Pre-Consultation Summary.

Any additional work can then be discussed and, if required, provided under a separate scope of services and fee.

The Pre-Consultation can be useful if you are:

What Happens Next?

Your Pre-Consultation is designed to give you greater clarity about your project and the appropriate next steps.

For some projects, the next step may be additional investigation or consultant input. For others, it may be time to move directly into design.

If you decide to move forward with Candace Lynn Design for design services, your $247 Pre-Consultation fee will be credited toward your design fee.

There is no obligation to proceed beyond the consultation.
